Following up the comment in my last post about Erin and Ted’s wedding feeling somehow “full circle” in some ways…
What I felt was that aside from this wonderful wedding returning me to my native northeast (as did Abigail and Eli’s wedding at The Foundry)– my very first couple, Amy and Andy, were in attendance! It felt like a little nod to the great beginning I had in documenting these beautiful celebrations.
Erin found me through our mutual friend, Amy who hired me for my very first job as a lead photographer back in 2005 for her gorgeous destination wedding at the Sea Ranch Lodge on the Mendocino/Sonoma coast! Friends from college, Erin was one of Amy’s bridesmaids…and vice versa. It was such a great feeling that several years later, Erin remembered my personality, approach and my images from her good friend’s wedding enough to seek me out for her own! I am ever more thankful that she and Ted found their way to each other…and that having me photograph the big day was a part of their vision. Coincidentally, Erin and Ted met at a wedding through a mutual friend named Kate Weber (I think she only has one “B” in her last name but I won’t hold it against her). I thought it would be nice to share just a small selection of images from Amy & Andy’s great wedding at the Sea Ranch Lodge! I still love it and am ever thankful to this fabulous pair.
