It seems like the best time to let you in, more formally (but not too formally, ahem), on this fine matter at hand seeing as the wedding blog, Style Me Pretty, is sharing a destination wedding in beautiful blue Tahoe today photographed by none other than…Julie Bullock!
Julie, or JB, as I’m apt to call her fondly, is Kate Webber Photography’s super-slammin’ (sorry to be so technical here, folks) ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER! In case you’ve missed mentions of Julie on our KWP Facebook page or here on the blog, I want to take this long overdue moment to tell you a little something about this lovely lady and friend o’ mine.
Aside from being a beautifully artistic, creative soul, Julie is also a seasoned world traveler, lover of vibrant colors and skilled storyteller with a great laugh.
Julie and I met at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara many ages ago. I think she had blue hair at the time and since I can’t quite say for certain we’ll just let that slide. We’ve cruised together back and forth from San Francisco to Napa and Sonoma too many times to count; we’ve taken destination trips for shoots up to the cool mountains of Washington and down to beaches in the tropics; we’ve listened to possibly thousands of hours of iTunes and Pandora in the office together and occasionally she tries to teach me some more guitar skills over a sip or two of small batch bourbon which we share an affection for.
