The Sweetness of Mothers

Tuesday, February 26th, 2013
Annie & Andrew are getting married on perhaps the best day of the year to do so…it happens to be my parents’ anniversary, August 24th! This year will mark 45 years of marriage for my parents. With that, Annie & Andrew, I hope your life together will be as blessed as the one I grew up witnessing and still continue to enjoy as a daughter of this fine pair!
This San Francisco engagement shoot was a very good time with Annie & Andrew, who are an absolutely sweet duo to witness. They’ve built their relationship on many solid years together (they met on the first day of college, wow) so I am, along with a multitude of others, eagerly looking forward to their wedding in Calistoga later this year!

SMP’s Best of Weddings 2012
Tuesday, January 29th, 2013
Set on a gorgeous private estate in Sonoma atop some seriously scenic hills, Jenny & Tyler celebrated a pretty spectacular wedding day. Previously featured on the SMP blog, the post created such a happy stir that it was selected for inclusion in Style Me Pretty’s most recent and full of beauty e-magazine Best of Weddings 2012 (turn to page 44, “For the Love of Pink”). Enjoy!

The Path Ahead

Meika & Joe’s Wedding in Winters: Part 2
Monday, August 13th, 2012A rained out wedding is heartbreaking. That said, I think it made “Take Two” all the more special for Meika & Joe’s wedding. Here is the beautiful, sunshine-filled Part Two to this outdoor wedding in Winters!
This wedding can also be seen on the print pages and online for the Premiere issue of California Brides magazine published by Modern Luxury. More info and photos can also been seen on the well-loved wedding inspiration blog, Snippet & Ink.

Meika & Joe’s Wedding in Winters: Part 1
Friday, August 10th, 2012Oh, rainy days, you make the sunshine all the sweeter.

That beautiful sunshine in the photo above? That is not how this wedding started… Here is a two-part wedding story that is easily a “stand out” in my wedding experiences to date. Emarie of The Collection Event Studio is both a colleague and a friend and she also happens to be Meika’s sister. With tireless planning skills and lots of love, she pulled together a great event with a dream team of other vendors that I feel fortunate to have worked with not once, but TWICE!
Take One: Some getting ready/details, Meika & Joe’s pre-ceremony portraits and then the raindrops started and kept going and going…

Americana Goodness
Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012This past weekend I was running around a gorgeous ranch in Healdsburg, California shooting Brooke & Danny’s fun and very touching wedding! It was pure Americana goodness topped off with great music and beautiful design (thanks in no small part to Jess Flood & team). This photo seemed a fitting little something to share from this weekend’s shoot in recognition of tomorrow. So with that, I hope you have a Happy Fourth of July!

Bucknell Grads in Love!
Wednesday, June 13th, 2012AH! Not only are Dare & Garrik possibly one of the sweetest couples (both together and in their overall demeanor as individuals), but they happen to be fellow Bucknell University grads! Oh, such amusing nostalgia conjured for my undergrad days in Lewisburg, PA… Though I’ve had the good fortune to photograph several Bucknell grad weddings in the past (always a ton of FUN), this is the first one where both bride and groom are alumni! Looking forward to some Bison fun at the wedding this fall in Napa at the Carneros Inn!

Big congratulations to Dare & Garrik! Just a few photos here from our beautiful engagement session for you to enjoy.
