Dear Moorea, I love you. Yes, yes I do.
In fact, I love a lot of what I saw and experienced on several of French Polynesia’s volcanic Society Islands. How could you not? I hope the photos are worth all the words I would otherwise (and inadequately) insert into this post to describe the deep beauty of these islands and this culture.

For a bit more to the wedding story: Kareen & Oskar met at a wedding in the south of France. Several years later, they found themselves perched atop a hillside, overlooking the lush scape and turquoise waters which set the scene for their destination wedding in Moorea. Guests literally traveled from all over the globe to celebrate with them, enjoying 3 days of hosted events in this beautiful paradise.
Festivities kicked off on the first eve with a French Polynesian welcome dinner of traditional food prepared in a huge Tahitian fire pit, traditional poi and sunset views. The evening kicked off from there with Polynesian dance and fire performances.
