Snippet & Ink blog: Seaglass and Velvet board

I absolutely love the daily wedding inspiration blog Snippet & Ink.
I love it even more when she uses one of my photos, like in this past Wednesday’s post: Seaglass and Velvet.

Thanks Kathryn!
If you have never seen Snippet & Ink, you’re missing out…so head on over there!  I happen to have it conveniently stashed in my “Blogs I Like” links for easy reference, too.

A Savvy Event blog – vendors guest blog this week

The fabulous ladies behind A Savvy Event are running a week of guest blogs with some of their favorite vendors highlighted!
Head on over to their blog to check out some of their keen selects featured so far.

Photography is running today!  Here is the link to my guest posting.
Thanks so much to Kelly & Emarie!

Memorial Day Weekend

Wishing all of you a wonderful holiday weekend!
I’ll be busy shooting wedding photos…

…and enjoying some barbeque!  Oh yes.

Two Fun Engagement Shoots

I’ve been meaning to share these two engagement shoots for a while now, so here they are.
Both of these take place in San Francisco, which is packed with amazing locations!

The first one, Emilie and Gray’s, took place at a couple of key places where the couple spends their time.
We started at the California Academy of Sciences, where Gray works.

I happened to really like that lone little pink fish up there on the left — odd one out, in the best way!

After the Academy, we ventured outside and on to their house to finish up.  Their kitty, Frankie, even joined in for a few, which was so kind of her, indeed.

Second up:  Divina & Tyler have a very urban wedding happening in a few months at Grace Cathedral and the Mark Hopkins Hotel which A Savvy Event is coordinating!
To balance the imagery of these two shoots, their engagements encompassed a bit more greenery with a little architectural/city edge, too. It was a cold, wet day, but they were such troopers and we all had a great time!

Benziger Family Winery – Spring Fling event

Recently, I was fortunate to be one of the highlighted vendors that took part of the Benziger Spring Fling event.
It is a beautiful property and hopefully I will be back there soon…

Classic Party Rentals supplied some beautiful linens and furniture setups.
FleurEssence, Exceptional Floral DesignDandelion FloralJulie’s Floral and Event Design, and Botanical Arts Floral Design all added perfect touches to the event as well!

All sorts of deliciousness was being served up from the artist chefs at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission InnFeast CateringThe Girl and The FigKinyon Culinary and Wine Valley Catering.

The brick pizza oven at Benziger is such a nice bonus.

I love cheese!  Raymond & Co. Cheesemongers was there as well.

Kelly Zubal, such a talented artist, from Inticing Creations also had some of her salted caramel chocolate cake out for guests to enjoy.  So good!

I had to snap one last shot before leaving…it was such a beautiful view.  Enjoy it.
